The MODIG RS485-USB ISO Converter is a bidirectional gateway that bridges the RS485 bus with a USB interface. The USB side features a high-performance FTDI controller compatible with the USB 2.0 standard and is equipped with a USB-C port. On the RS485 side, a robust transceiver supports communication within a bus network of up to 64 devices. To ensure reliable industrial operation, the converter features advanced noise reduction circuitry, surge and overvoltage protection, and 1 kV galvanic isolation. Additionally, it includes an integrated, switchable 120 bus termination resistor.
